The Environmental Club celebrates Earth Day.

On Friday, April 27, 2012 CHFHS Environmental Club held an event to celebrate Earth Day. The Earth Day event was held to help students and teachers to get involved in the community and environment. This Earth Day extravaganza involved a performance by the Environmental Club, selections by the Guitar Club, as well as special guests. Tommy Baden has been at this event for three years now.
“I think it’s a great idea and it’s a good experience! A great number of people do not go outside much, this gives them a chance to feel real animals.” said Tommy Baden.
Tommy had a table where the guests were able to feel the different kinds of animal fur. This gives them an opportunity to be more cautious of nature and how it is threatened on a daily basis, by the destruction of habits and slander of animals.
“It’s been very nice, great speakers and presenters.” exclaimed Dr. Lewing-Gary, sponsor.
