Per Principal Brown, students have permission to wear pink this Tuesday, Aug. 28 in memory of slain student, Amber Stanley. Students must purchase a ticket in order to wear pink with their uniform.Tickets will be $2 and will be sold during all lunch periods on Monday, Aug. 27 in the Science and Tech office, located on Main Street.
Students  must bring the ticket to school with them on Tuesday as permission to wear pink. Students may wear a pink shirt and/or shoes, but must still wear grey uniform pants or skirts. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Amber’s family.
Stanley passed away last week and was a member of the Science and Technology program as well as an honor student at CHFHS. A balloon release has also been scheduled for Tuesday morning in Amber’s honor.
