Students do not forget to take advantage of scholarships.
The Washington DC Chapter of the Florida A&M University National Alumni Association (FAMU NAA) is pleased to announce that the annual scholarship application process is now open. Our chapter is looking for qualified applicants to support future FAMU students’ academic endeavors. We hope you can aid us in sharing the scholarship with any current FAMU student or high school seniors who are considering FAMU for their undergraduate education.  Scholarship Details: (Deadline: March 30, 2019)
An applicant must be a graduating high school senior or student current attending FAMU from the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area (to include Maryland and Virginia). To be considered a student must possess a minimum grade point average of 2.75 (C+) on a 4.0 scale. Additional requirements include:

  • Completed application form
  • Two letters of recommendation
  • SAT/ACT scores
  • Letter of Acceptance
  • Official transcript
  • FASFA Certificate of Eligibility with family income and Expected Family Contribution (EFC)
  • Documentation of extracurricular activities
  • Essays
