Vincent Edward “Bo” Jackson was the first African-American athlete to play football and baseball, as well as become an All-star in both sports.
While attending Auburn University, Jackson won the Heisman trophy (best collegiate football player in the United States) in 1985, and a year later, he got selected by Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Afterward, Jackson didn’t want to play football and got drafted seventh round by Kansas City Royals. He became an All-star in 1989 and was in the All-Star game.
