The Environmental Club will be having its interest meeting today, September 11, 2012 in room 534 from 2:30-4:00. Every new and old member will have to complete an application if they choose to be part of the club. Every member will be required to purchase the club t-shirt this year.
This year will be a big year for the club that has many aspirations. They plan to continue recycling but to make it more consistent by picking up recycling every Tuesday and Thursday. There will be an Earth Day this year, of course and they plan on competing in the Envirothon, a competition that tests a team’s knowledge of the environment. However, the big goal is to make Charles H. Flowers a green school but they can’t do it alone. If there are any other clubs that would like to collaborate with the Environmental Club, please contact Ms. Lewing-Gray in room 531.
