Patriots Mother/Daughter Stem Competition

The Patriots Technology Training Center is holding a Pre-Mothers Day STEM competition on May 4th, 2019. This competition is a great way for mothers and daughters to team up, compete, & learn about STEM interrelated careers. Ten teams of 8 (4 mothers and 4 daughters) will conduct a research paper (3 pages), a brochure, a functional website, and an oral presentation. The winning teams will be announced at the Youth Summit. First place winning team receives $100 Visa Gift Card (per student), 2nd place $50 Visa Gift Card (per student), 3rd place $25 Visa Gift Card (per student). Benefits are listed below:
· Each mother will receive a special Mother’s Day gift
· Teams’ entry into the Patriots STEM Youth Summit
· Continental Breakfast
· Lunch
· T-Shirt
· Network with Cyber Security Professionals
· Each student will receive membership to Patriots NSBE Jr. Chapter for the
2019-2020 school year ($60 value)
