As of Monday, October 22, 2012 there are new Media Center hours for students so that they have extra time to study. From now on the Media Center will be open until 4 pm only on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Students will have a place where they can work on projects, homework, and also study. Because of the adjusted schedule, the library will also open later on those days, so students will not be able to use it before school in the morning.
In order for students to use the library after school, they will need to get a pass from the Guidance Office. “The reason for students to have access to enter the library after school is to work on homework, projects and other things they need extra time to work on. It is not meant for students to play games on the computer, watch videos on YouTube, or get on Twitter,” said CHFHS Librarian, Ms. Goff.
