The Environmental club will be having another meeting on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 2:30-4:00 in room 534, Mr. Sharif’s room. There will be community service hours given to whoever participates in recycling on Tuesday and Thursday. The Environmental Club asks that more teachers have recycle boxes in their classrooms.
Also, Howard University will be coming to the school on Friday, October 26 to meet with the Environmental Club about a Sustainable Project Competition. The first place winners of 10 people will split a $6,000 scholarship evenly, the second place winner will split a $3,000 scholarship and the third place winners will split a $1,000 scholarship.
