President Obama has won the reelection after a long battle with Governor Mitt Romney. On Tuesday November 6, election day, President Obama won 332 electoral college votes while Romney won 206. Even after voting polls closed in many states, people were still waiting in line to vote. Obama was able to pull major states such as Ohio, Virginia, Iowa and Wisconsin. President Obama also won the popular 50.5% to Romney’s 47.9%. President Barack Obama’s inauguration will take place January 21, 2013.
