Election Day

Jordan Coleman

The elections are here… for homecoming court that is. As Jaguars walk the halls of the Mecca of Excellence, you may have noticed the flyers and posters for candidates running for homecoming court. Each grade has two court representatives for that class, freshmen are lady and lord, sophomores are duke and duchess, juniors are prince and princess, and seniors are king and queen. The ballot for voting has finally opened today. In order to vote you must go on the PGCPS email provided by the school. There is an email that will be sent by Ms. Bennons, the teacher,  SGA advisor, and class of 2020 sponsor. Once the email has been opened inside there is a link to a google survey, clicking the link will open up the ballot where then students are able to cast their votes. Voting closes on Friday October 24th, 2019 just before the pep rally that same day. Homecoming court representatives will be announced during pep rally. Voting is a crucial part of becoming an adult in the real world, voting expresses one’s thoughts, points and emotions on a matter. So, why not get first hand experience into voting with the Charles Herbert Flowers 2019  Homecoming Election.
