On November 2, 2019, the Jaguars Football team dominates DuVal 43-0 at their home field. This win brings them to a leading 8-2 record. With this successful record, the team qualifies for the playoffs. The football team’s first playoff game will occur on the home fields against Parkdale High School on Friday, November 8.
According to linebacker Ben Lavelah, “It was rough without coach Powell, [and] unorganized at times.” The team is recovering however, and Lavelah states confidently that “We have a 70% chance to win the playoffs.”
