Jazz, what is it to me
Is it a feeling I feel in my feet
Or maybe the great feel of the drummers beat
The great saxophone playing can make anyone smile
The Trumpet Can blast away for miles
The Trombone always has a great tone
The bass player can do whatever he or she feels the stroke of her fingers makes it real
The piano player keeps the band in check, his fingers keeps the band at deck
Now what is jazz to me
It’s my getaway from the world and life
Jazz can relieve my pain and strive
Jazz is used for everything it’s like a lever
Jazz will always be in my life always in forever
