Free PGC Dental/Vision Exams.

Free dental and vision clinics will begin popping up at more than 100 Prince George’s County schools in January as part of a new focus on students’ oral health.
The Oral Health Impact Project will give students access to vision screenings and dental exams, the county said.
Exams will be scheduled during school hours, and students who need glasses will receive them for free, County Executive Angela Alsobrooks said.
Students examined will be connected with other doctors for follow-up visits as necessary.
The clinics will be funded from a partnership with CF Charities and the Student Health Impact Project.
The program comes years after the death of Deamonte Driver, who doctors said died when bacteria from a tooth infection reached his brain.” (
