Pre-College Summer Programs at Temple University

Interested in attending college while still in high school? Want to exprience real life on campus? Temple University’s Pre-College Summer Programs offers just that and more! Students have the opportunity to discover different fields of study and experience college life on the University’s campus, located in Philideplia, PA. There are two main programs, Temple Summer Academy (which can earn you credits and a Temple tution grant) and Temple Pre-College Workshops. All programs are customizable.
 
In the Temple Pre-College Workshops, you attend two non-credit workshops, one Am and one PM. Morning workshops are from 9:30 am to 12 pm  and afternoon workshops are from 1:00 to 3:30. This program is available to 10-12th graders. It gives students to chance to build confidence, independance, and develop interests in many different academic studies. There will be three 2-week sessions this coming year. The dates are; June 22-July 2, 2020, July 6-July 17, 2020, and July 20-July 31, 2020. Temple Summer Academy is aimed towards upcoming 11th and 12th grade students. It is a four-week program that offers a college course that will earn 3-4 credits and two non-credit workshops in various academic fields. the program dates between July 6 and July 31, 2020. The requirments to be enrolled in the Academy are:
 
• Your High School transcript
• Test Scores (PSAT, SAT, or ACT)
• 500-word Essay
• Reccomendation Letter
