Princeton Summer Journalism Program
December 5, 2019
The Princeton Summer Journalism Program (PSJP) is aimed towards low-income juniors interested in the field of journalism. It offers a 10-day campus experience at Princeton University in which they learn and gain experience from professional journalists. Students participate in a press conference, making a short documentary, report professional sporting events, attend plays, visit major news outlets and do interview a for their very own feature in the Princeton Summer Journal.
Afterwards, the students are assigned a volunteer college advisor who will help them through their application process. The program spans from July 31 to August 10, 2020. All expenses are covered by the program management.
