As we go into 2020, I expect school systems to be getting better with dealing with cheating in the classroom. But are they really? I have gone to investigate how cheating in Charles Herbert Flowers is affecting students. Some students say that they haven’t cheated in a months time. Most of the students that I have interviewed have said they cheat on a day to day basis.
I interviewed a 10th grader at our school, who liked to be named anonymous, she said that cheating helps with her classwork and homework but when test comes around, she isn’t prepared for the content. When I asked her how often she cheats she responded with “ every other class”. Another student in 9th grade said the same thing as the previous student but when I asked her how often she cheats she responded with “ every class period except for gym”.
