ProStart Students Advance in Cooking Competition

On March 9, seniors Jasmine Brown, Alex Harris and Deonte Richardson competed in the Prelim Cooking Competition at Crossland High School.  They prepared a French Omelette and a Cucumber Salad for judges. On on March 14, Jasmine Brown and Alex Harris were notified that they would be moving forward in the final round of the competition. However, all students that competed in the first round of the competition will also qualify for one of the thirty cooking internships in 5-star restaurants in Washington, DC. The final competition will be held Sunday April 14, 2013 at the Art Institute of Washington. The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday April 16 at 8:30 am.
