Maryland Receives Snowfall For the First Time in 2020

Evan Nuesca

On January 6, 2020, Maryland is hit with snow for the first time in the new year. According to wusa9, around 3-4 inches of snow is expected. Prince George’s County Public Schools responded with a code orange to the inclement weather, meaning that PGCPS schools and offices will open with a two-hour delay. Temperatures dropping below freezing temperature means that any moisture left in roads will cause them to refreeze and create slick spots in the next morning.
