CHFHS may become a green school, this year, all thanks to the Environmental Club. The Environmental Club will be applying for the Maryland Green School Awards Program. The program recognizes schools that have made the effort to make themselves more green and environment friendly. The 4 categories for the awards program include water conservation/ pollution prevention, energy conservation, waste reduction, and healthy school environment. The winner receives, a Maryland Green School flag, statewide and local recognition, a native Maryland tree and more gifts.
