Nominate Outstanding Principals and Teachers for the Washington Post Awards

The call for nominations for this year’s Washington Post Principal of the Year and Teacher of the Year Awards has officially kicked off. Nomination packets are available on the website. All nominations must be submitted to the Office of Communications by 5 p.m. on January 22.

One principal and one teacher will be selected to represent PGCPS in the regional competition. The proud winner for each award who will receive a signature trophy, $7,500 monetary award, spot in a featured ad in The Washington Post newspaper and a profile in newspaper and on washingtonpost.com.
