Ms. Kim Knox, was welcomed to CHFHS as Principal of the Day. She came prepared to introduce Flowers HS students to new and exciting employment opportunities at her place of employment, the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC). The WSSC provides safe drinking water and wastewater treatment for Montgomery and Prince Georges counties, and she is the Community Outreach Manager for the company. Today, as she met with students in Environmental Science classes, she discussed new employment opportunities available in the Environmental Science field, such as becoming an Environmental Engineer. She also spoke about service learning opportunities available at WSSC.
“It has been wonderful to partner with Flowers High School, and I look forward to continuing our partnership in the future,” said Knox.
She plans to return to CHFHS on Monday to speak with Ms. S. Williams’ Environmental Science class.
