Eight schools were selected to receive 2019 Maryland Excellence in Gifted and Talented Education awards, the highest single-year total in Prince George’s County Public Schools . The 2019 recipients include Greenbelt, Heather Hills, Mattaponi, Pointer Ridge and Valley View elementary schools, Accokeek Academy and Benjamin Tasker and Walker Mill middle schools.
