Uniforms have some positive effects but also have some negative effects. Some of the positive effects of having uniforms are

• More organization in school and out of school.
• Better school environment
• Helps parents save money
• Prevents students from some forms of bullying 

There are also some negatives of having a uniform which are

• Belongings and some clothes can be stolen from non-students.
• They can cause discomfort for students for a 5-6 hour period.
• They could cause outside bullying by other students from different schools.
• They can slow down a child’s decision-making skills during interviews or during school sporting events.

Uniforms can have positive and negative effects but are sometimes needed for professional purposes.
