Baseball Season Overview

This year, the CHFHS Boys Baseball team is led by a host of seniors which are looking forward to finishing off their last season in high school on a successful note by winning a state championship. They are fueled by their three captains Jordan Wesley, Orlando Mullins, and Edward Reyes.

So far the Jaguars are having a good season standing tall with a record of 9-3 in the 4A south region. The Jaguars are in the top 5 in the county in just about every major category offensively and defensively. After dropping two losses to Eleanor Roosevelt and Bowie, they look to rebound quickly as possible and begin a run that will make them prepared and strong when the playoffs start.

“At this point in the season, as a team we know we have to come together and work even harder if we want to reach our ultimate goal which is a state championship,” said Captain Jordan Wesley. “We know how effective we can be and how much of a threat we can be especially when the playoffs start, but it is up to us to go out there and prove it on the field.”
