GRADE APPEALS
February 5, 2020
The window for quarter 2 grade appeals has opened. The final day to submit grade appeals is February 14, 2020 at 3:00pm.
Quarterly Grade Appeal Process
Please read the attached excerpt from Administrative Procedure 5116 for Grade Appeals Authorizations.
The process is as follows:
1. Students must download and print the attached form (Attachment B: AP 5116).
2. The grade appeal documentation and the grade appeal form will be scanned and submitted to the teacher and Mrs. Morton-Wilson via email for their review and response. ([email protected]). If you are unable to scan and email the document you may turn in the completed form to Mrs. Morton-Wilson in 236.
3. The SIT grade appeal committee will review all appeals beginning
February 19, 2020.
4. Students/ Parents / Teachers will be notified of the outcome of the SIT Grade Appeal committee decision within 15 days of the release of the quarter report card with exception to the 4th quarter.
5. ALL GRADE APPEALS FOR QUARTER 2 OF THE 2019-2020 ACADEMIC YEAR ARE DUE TO MRS. MORTON-WILSON BY FRIDAY FEBRUARY 14, 2020 via email at [email protected].
6. You must fill out a grade appeal form for every class that you file a grade appeal for.
