High school graduation rates for the Class of 2019 increases slightly in the Maryland suburbs compared with the year before, with more substantial gains recorded by English-language learners, figures released Tuesday by the state show. In Montgomery County, 88.7 percent of high school students graduated in four years, a 0.3-percentage-point gain over 2018. Prince George’s County graduated 78.6 percent of seniors, a 0.1-percentage-point advance. This is the type of positivity I think we all love to see. Keep up the hard work.
