Bangerz is Miley Cyrus’ fourth studio album which was released on October 8. Her three previous albums were recorded under her previous record label, Hollywood Records. She changed labels and moved to RCA Records because she felt as if her other record label wouldn’t accept her changing image.

As you know, Miley Cyrus has gone through a dramatic transition ever since her TV show, Hannah Montana, ended. To thank her fans, Cyrus let her fans stream the album on iTunes for free a week before its release.

People that inspired her album included Miguel and Frank Ocean. The genre of the album is pop and hip hop. Hot singles from Bangerz include “We Can’t Stop” which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and “Wrecking Ball” which became Miley’s first single to reach the top of the charts.
