Tuskegee Airman

 The Tuskegee Airmen were a group of African-American pilots who had fought in WW2. They were founded in 1941 and the first African Americans Pilots to ever be able to fight and fly in war. The Tuskegee Airmen included pilots, navigators, bombardiers, maintenance and support staff, instructors, and all the personnel who kept the planes and pilots in the air.The first Civilian Pilot Training Program students completed their instruction in May 1940.The Tuskegee Airmen overcame segregation and prejudice to become one of the most highly respected fighter groups of World War II. Charles Herbert Flowers Himself was a Tuskegee Airmen and he was very respected. There were so many things that African Americans did during WW2, the Tuskegee Airman and the Montford Marines.
