10 Steps to an Emergency Preparedness Kit

The CDC has developed a list of 10 to help in preparation of emergencies.

1.One Gallon of Water Per Day, Per Person
2.At Least a Three-Day Supply of Non-Perishable Prepared Food
3.A Can Opener
4.Plastic plates, cups, utensils, and napkins
5.A fully stocked first aid kit
6.A battery powered or hand cranked radio, plus extra batteries
7.At least a two week supply of medication
8.Toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and hand sanitizer
9.Cellphones and portable cellphone chargers (ideally a solar charger)
10.Cash
