Formerly a college instructor in the Philippines and a middle school math teacher in the District of Columbia, he attained his Bachelor of Science Major in Mathematics at the University of the Philippines and Masters of Education Major in Mathematics at the Tarlac State University.

“I like the new environment. There are a lot of us who teach algebra so I have the chance to collaborate with them and it makes teaching and learning process easier,” Baking said.

He has been a resident of Maryland for five years and he likes “the weather and the nature of the place – not so urban at the same time not so rural.”
