PGCC donates medical supplies during pandemic

Prince George’s Community College, Md contributes ventilators and other necessary supplies needed during the COVID-19 pandemic. On April 3, 2020, Prince George’s Community College (PGCC) recently contributed medical equipment such as ventilators to the Maryland Department of Health and Prince George’s County to be used during the COVID-19 pandemic. The equipment is taken from the college’s learning laboratories, which are nott being used currently, since classes are cancelled. The supplies will be distributed to local hospitals on an as-needed basis.  Earlier on March 24th, donations by the college’s departments of health, nursing, and natural sciences included a variety of medical supplies needed for virus protection and patient care like N-95 respirators, surgical masks, isolation gowns, and gloves.
