Psychology Tip of the Week: Weird ways to tell if someone likes you

Sometimes we like to play hard to get.  However, our bodies give off involuntary messages that signal arousal and attraction. Raised eyebrows, flared nostrils, dilated pupils, opened legs, and fidgeting movements are all signs that we are attracted to someone. Raised eyebrows indicate openness and interest, while flared nostrils and dilated pupils are natural reactions that show excitement.
According to a study at the University of Manchester, we aren’t as conscious of our foot movements, so they are usually our body’s “interest detector.” While sitting, open legs show interest, while closed, or crossed, legs show disapproval. When we are attracted to someone, our heart beats faster when we are near them, causing nervous movements.
