Virginia Bates is currently a senior at Charles Herbert Flowers High School. When she grows up, Virginia hopes to pursue her dream of becoming a journalist. During Virginia’s free time, she enjoys swimming, playing bingo with her mom, spending time with friends, and listening to music to help her relax, study, or jam out when she’s supposed to be studying. Virginia’s passion for advocating change shows up in much of her writing and is sure to inspire others for years to come.
