Who was at the Inauguration?

The Inauguration

Before the ceremony even starts, we see quite a few familiar faces. Former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary Clinton -who lost the battle against Trump in 2016-, walk-in side by side. We also see former President Barack Obama and former FLOTUS Michelle Obama.
Michelle is rocking a burgundy ensemble that’s making social media go crazy.
Another former president, George Bush, is there as well, reuniting 4 of the presidents that are still alive. Former president Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn Carter, however, could not make the inauguration due to the pandemic. They had been at every inauguration since Carter’s presidency. We also spot Biden’s family, sporting monochromatic outfits.
Mike Pence surprises a lot of people by showing up with his wife Karen Pence, while Trump’s on a plane to Mar-a-Largo. It is said that he left the new Vice President a note on her desk. No one is sure what’s written in the note, though. Many more political celebrities arrived, all waiting to see their new president get sworn in.
We received wonderful performances from Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez, and Garth Brooks. There will be many more at the special tonight like Demi Lovato and Katy Perry. We were also blessed with a beautiful poem from Amanda Gorman, a 22-year old poet.
While there is much more to come at tonight’s special event, “Celebrating America”, we were all happy to see everyone at the Inauguration.
