The Untold Stories of Meghan Markle

On March 7th, starting at 8:00PM, Meghan Markle sat down with Oprah Winfrey to discuss her and her husband, Prince Harry’s, decision to permanently leave the UK Monarchy.  During this two-hour interview on CBS, my family and I made sure to have our popcorn near by as we were so intrigued into every second of every segment.

Meghan revealed and unraveled so many secrets that had been kept for so long.  She also described her battle with suicidal thoughts and near attempts while pregnant with her first son Archie.

One of the most shocking segments during this interview was when Meghan revealed that there was a conversation about “how dark Archie would be” during her pregnancy.  However, I’m not surprised.

One of the sweetest moments was when Prince Harry joined his wife where they revealed their future child would be a little girl.  They also let everyone know that she would be their last child to wrap up their wonderful family.

Time and time again this world goes to show that no matter who you are, what status you hold, and the amount of money you have, you will always face some sort of judgment, criticism, racism, etc.  Meghan and her experiences were a prime example of this.

The interview was truly amazing.  It gave outsiders a look in on what the reality of being a mixed race girl in the royal palace was like. Not everything is always as it seems which is why you never assume what someone may or may not be going through.  Always spread love and kindness.
