Say Goodbye To Dry, Ashy Skin: How To Get Glowy Skin For Spring

 While the obvious weapon when fighting ashy skin is lotion, that is only a temporary solution. There are various ways to get bright, healthy looking skin. So, say goodbye to the harsh winter and give a warm welcome to spring with beautiful skin. Here are some tips for achieving glowing skin:

  • Exfoliate and moisturize: There are various exfoliators on the market, but the cheapest one is in your kitchen: sugar. Mix some brown sugar with honey and gently scrub your skin with it and rinse. This may cause redness if you have sensitive skin, so beware. After rinsing, apply a moisturizer or lotion.
  • Don’t spend too much time in the shower: Hot showers dry your skin out and drains your natural oils. You should either limit your shower time or use cooler water.
  • Drink lots of water: Drink at least four water bottles or eight cups of water. Water drains the toxins out of body, creating a healthy glow all over.
  • Eat healthier: Cucumbers and green tea are especially helpful with your skin. Both contain antioxidants and vitamin C. Also, cold cucumbers erase dark circles and eye bags when applied for at least 25-30 minutes.
  • Exercise daily: Whether it be rigorous or not, move your body to get your blood flowing. Circulation brightens your skin.

        If those tips don’t give you the glow that you want, try using products such as night eye cream, toners, and day and night moisturizers.
