Indel Power Group is a holding company whose portfolio of companies includes Johnson & Towers, Western Branch Diesel, Johnson Truck Center, Dovell & Williams, and Diesel Outboard Solutions. This holding company started a Technician Apprenticeship Program that will guide you on a career path towards becoming a qualified heavy-duty equipment technician. If you’re reliable, diligent, and ready to learn, they’ll invest in you and your continued success.

There is NO experience needed to apply for this apprenticeship program. They will help you by giving you the tools you need to succeed. With guaranteed paid training after your first 90 days and a personalized, custom training path after your first six months, you will be given the support and training you need to learn while on the job. To help support you, you’d be paired with a corporate sponsor and a peer mentor that’ll be there on your side as you go through this program. Also, it offers a tiered rewards program within the first year of employment.

When you join the Indel Power Group team, you will learn how to perform diagnostic testing on diesel engines, analyze diagnostic test results, replace vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systems, and much more. Test drive vehicles to gauge performance, perform preventative maintenance on service trucks, and maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.

In order to apply, you must:

– have good attention to detail

– have excellent verbal communication skills – be 18 years of age or older

– possess a valid driver’s license

After applying, applicants will be required to complete two assignments emailed to you after submitting your application.
