“There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.” John 3:18

The moment Adam and Eve disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, they gave sin power over man and unleashed God’s judgment upon us. God hates sin, rightly so, considering He is holy, righteous, and sinless. Sin is an affront to Him, so the fact that all of humanity is sinful is enough to warrant His righteous judgment on us.

Sin is disobedience to God. Sins such as lying (disobeying God’s command to be truthful), murder (breaking God’s law that requires us to love our neighbors), and many more make us filthy before God. We deserve His condemnation and the consequences of our actions. But God, who is gracious and merciful, made us right with Himself by causing His one and only Son to die for us. By simply believing in Him, we are free from judgment! However, if we choose to remain in our unbelief, we will receive God’s judgment; there are no ifs, and’s, or but’s about it.

God’s judgment is inevitable for those who do not cling to His Son’s sacrifice, but His grace and mercy are abundant for those who forgo pride and believe in Jesus. Whether we admit it or not, God is real, heaven is real, and hell is real, too. Denying these facts will not make them less true and will not save us from God’s judgment. Instead, believing in Jesus will save and exonerate us from eternal separation from God.

God has shown us mercy through Jesus Christ, and it is up to us now to make the right decision. We have free will, and we can choose to believe in Christ or ignore Him. I hope you will make the right choice by believing in Jesus.
