Tuesday, October 19th, 2021, marks the first day of three African Student Association (ASA) tryouts. ASA tryouts will also be on Wednesday, October 20th, 2021, and Thursday, October 21st, 2021.

Many people assume that because they are not of immediate African descent, they are not eligible to join ASA. This is the opposite; ASA welcomes everyone to their organization, including males. To be qualified for the team, you must attend every practice. No exceptions.

ASA offers both a modeling and dance team. You can participate in only one of the teams. You cannot do both ASA Modeling and ASA Dancing. Tryouts will be hosted in the Dance Room (room 1305). You must come in comfortable all-black attire and models must bring high heels of at least 5 inches.

The ASA President, Esther Awe, informs you to “COME OUT WITH GREAT ENERGY AND CONFIDENCE!!!”.
