Who Are You Missing This Thanksgiving?

Avery Thomas , Copy Editor: Joshua Nunez

Thanksgiving is a time for family and friends to come together and celebrate. This to me is one of the most important aspects of the holiday.

Thanksgiving is a great time for you to surround yourself with your loved ones. For my family and I; pre-COVID we would usually go around the circle from oldest to youngest saying what we are thankful for. Thank God our circle has not been getting any smaller since the last Thanksgiving, we were all together.

But I did lose somebody this year who I was very thankful for. It was one of my first coaches and one of the best coaches I’ve had. He was like an uncle to me and treated everyone of his players as he did his own kids.

I want to take this time to just ask you, who are you missing this Thanksgiving? If you want to respond in the comments on who the person that is missing from your circle is, feel free.

If it is too personal but you still want to talk about it, then you can email me ([email protected]). I know how hard it is to lose somebody that is important to you and it is a lot easier when you can get it off your chest.
