2022 ICC Scholars Program Application and Virtual Application Workshop

Today, a time sensitive email was sent by Mr. Groves with the following information:
“Dear Community Partner supporting Charles Herbert Flowers High School:
We are excited to share time-sensitive information with you, and to invite you to play a significant role in supporting the educational opportunities for deserving youth in Prince George’s County.
The Ivy Community Charities (ICC) of Prince George’s County, Inc. in collaboration with Alpha Kappa Alpha
- Be a high school senior.
- Reside in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
- Attend a high school or be enrolled in an approved home school program in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
- Have plans to pursue an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree on a full-time basis at an accredited two (2) or four (4) year college or university in the fall 2022 or spring 2023 terms.
- Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5.
- Attend the ICC Virtual Scholars Program Application Workshop. Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 4:00pm – 5:00 pm – Workshop Registration link: SCHOLARSHIPS | iccpgc or 2022 ICC Scholars Program Applicant Registration (google.com)
*Applicants must submit their application documents from an existing Gmail Google account or create a new account for free.
*Children (biological or adopted), stepchildren or grandchildren of members of Iota Gamma Omega Chapter or Ivy Community Charities are INELIGIBLE for Ivy Community Charities Scholarships.

The deadline for submitting applications is February 1, 2022 @ 11:59 EST. Applications must be received by this date and time to be considered.
Our goal is to make the application materials available to as many eligible students as possible. Please consider adding our 2022 ICC Scholars Program information to your school or organization website.
