“And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love…indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39

Dear Wandering Soul,

I know your heart has been beaten and battered by the world’s cruelty. I know you are searching for hope—for a glimmer of genuine affection in this duplicitous world. I know how hard it is to pretend that everything is fine when you’re simply hanging on by a thread. I know it feels like you will never experience what it means to be truly seen, heard, and understood.

I know you feel unloved.

But most importantly, I know that there’s someone who loves you even more than you can comprehend—His name is Jesus. Despite your shortcomings, despite your flaws, despite the things that make others deem you as “less-than,” He is there, every step of the way, waiting for you to run to Him for solace. He offers us never-ending love that outlasts even the greatest of sins and welcomes us into his family.

Yes, your friends and family love you, but their love is fleeting and conditional, ready to dissipate in the blink of an eye.

But the love of Jesus is eternal.

When you place your trust and faith in Him, you will see the reality of a God who loved you enough to die on the cross—a God who has loved you since before you were born and will continue to love you until you take your last breath.

Repent, come to Him today and bask in the love that will carry you through even the harshest of storms.

Sincerely,
Your Fellow Traveler.
