The members of the CHFHS Pom and Dance Team had an outstanding performance at the Mid Atlantic Pom and Dance Team Championships March 21 at Towson University.  The team brought home First Place trophies in all categories: Hip Hop, High Kick, and Pom.  Team Captain, Javonna Rozario, won two First Place and one Second Place Captain’s Medal. The wonderful parents won the Spirit Award Trophy.
Also, the previous weekend of March 14, the team traveled to Ocean City, Maryland, to compete in the Reach the Beach Dance Nationals.  The team won First Place in Hip-Hop and Second Place in Pom.  Please check out the autographed surfboard trophies in Ms. Bussey’s office. They are also sporting Dance Champion backpacks.
