Does live music, special guests, and food sound like a great way to spend a Saturday? Then come out to “The Taste of Flowers”, a special event hosted by the Class of 2017. This event will take place in the main and bus parking lot, Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is to help raise money for the Class of 2017.
“There will be two guest speakers such as Wisdom Martin and Donna Edwards.” said Ms. Piner, “This event is like a community festival for students where there will be vendors and much more.”
On Saturday, March 28 there will be volunteers for (students & adults) to place flyers around areas and is a chance for students to earn community service hours. There will be over 75 food and direct sales at the festival.There will be lots of activities for people at the taste of flowers festival. There will be students and adults handing out flowers around different areas from March 28 to April 18.
