Volunteer/Community Service Hours Opportunity

Nia Tabe and Reyna Taygen

From Jordan McClung, executive assistant at the City of Glenarden:
Good Afternoon CHFHS Students,
“…The City will be hosting a Holiday event for children at the Municipality Center here in Glenarden. We need a few more volunteers to help with the Polar Express Extravaganza event, and we were hoping you could offer this event to your students if they wish to gain 4-5 service hours for their graduation requirements.
Some of the activities your students will be helping with will include giving out popcorn and hot chocolate as well as helping with games, coloring stations and setting up for the event. Volunteers would need to be at the gold room on December 18th at 9:30 at this address 8600 Glenarden Parkway. You can also let your students know if they wish to participate, they can either email me directly at [email protected] or at my office 301-773-2100.
I really appreciate your time and help with this matter. Please let me know if you have any questions.”
Thank You!”
