It has begun again. December 17, 2020 @ 4:16 pm, CEO Dr. Monica Goldson made the announcement that PGCPS schools will transition to virtual learning effective Monday December 20 – Tuesday January 18.

The recent spike of COVID-19 cases is to blame, but this all feels too familiar which begs the question of whether we can trust the dates that we were giving.

I am sure Jaguar students remember March 13, 2020; a 2-week quarantine that became what seemed like an eternal spring break, when will it end? Seemingly no progress has been made amid the new protocols that have been put in place and not even halfway through the 2021-22 school year we are back to square one. It does not look like we will go back to normal anytime soon or at all for that matter, Is it possible that we will have to adapt to a new societal standard?

Students, as the Omicron Variant continues to spread please take precaution and wear your mask. During virtual learning be sure to keep in touch with your teachers and constantly check schoolmax and google classroom to stay on top of your work.
