Virtual learning has rekindled dormant issues that negatively impacted learning last year.

Firstly, some students lack efficient internet access, preventing them from joining Zoom classes, completing assignments, and thriving academically. To top it all off, they cannot readily obtain breakfast or lunch, causing them to lack the sustenance needed to endure eight hours of school.

Students do not have the essentials required to succeed in virtual school. Therefore, students and parents need to speak up and alert PGCPS officials of their needs.

PGCPS officials can rectify these issues by providing students with efficient and affordable internet service and nutritious breakfast and lunch. We cannot expect students to flourish if they are not given the tools and support necessary to do so.
