Dear CHF Family,
I greet you in the spirit of excellence and pray for peace, prosperity, and purpose at the dawning of this new year!

It’s a snow day! So buckle up!!

As we prepare to open our virtual doors for the new year, I urge you to remain vigilant as it relates to monitoring your scholars’ commitment to learning. We have learned that the virtual “learning space” offers students the opportunity to get off track. Having had a strong start to the school year, we want to be able to keep up the momentum and focus on academic excellence. As all learning will occur via Zoom/ Google Meet and Google Classroom parents are invited to monitor classroom learning and performance while preparing them to return to the schoolhouse on Tuesday, January 18th. Thank you for partnering with us in this regard.
Instructional hours will remain consistent and as all classes and lunch breaks will occur on the same schedule. More information will be released about the return to the schoolhouse as we approach the 18th.
In-Service,
Dr. Gorman E. Brown, Principal
UPDATE- IT WAS JUST ANNOUNCED THAT SCHOOLS WILL BE CLOSED FOR VIRTUAL LEARNING ON MONDAY, JANUARY 3RD AS WELL AS TUESDAY, JANUARY 4TH.
