First Snow Day Since 2020

Yes, it is! Snow reaching heights of seven inches has caused all PGCPS schools and offices to close on January 3, 2022, and January 4, 2022. Offices are expected to open back up and schools are expected to resume virtual learning on January 5, 2022. Though it was just reaching 60° days before, this “out of the blue” blizzard blocked roads, caused traffic, and kept everybody inside. Maryland hasn’t seen this much snow in years, and it is definitely one to remember. Even as people start getting back out and enjoying this long-awaited snow, it is advised to stay safe and stay warm, especially through these times.
