When Will Covid-19 End?

The Maryland Department of Health
January 10, 2022
Covid-19 is getting worse, and most county schools are closed. Staff and students are getting covid-19 and quarantined. The picture attached is from the Maryland Department of Health that shows the drastic increase of covid cases on Sunday, January 9.
When is covid-19 going to leave because I am afraid. I am a junior. I want to walk across the stage. I want to have prom and go out with my friends without being scared of another covid-19 outbreak. When will we feel free again without suffocating with a mask and feel like a neat freak? Covid-19 has to go because this new life we are getting used to is not the life I want to live.

Now that I’m looking back, Covid – 19 has been doing better and I do think that Seniors and Juniors will be able to physically walk across the stage !

The other night I was reading a post that asked the questions ” if covid happened in the 60’s, would we have handled it better?” And the replies mostly had the same gist, that we are handling it better in this generation, but core problem is the population way of handling it. Nowadays people react Covid like reacting to the weather and there’s still people that don’t believe Covid is real or that the measures we take are against our rights. I don’t think it will end, but at most hope it will shrink to a small population that can be controlled.

I’m really disappointed because things don’t seemed to be improving at all so it’s practically impossible to say we should expect anything good. It just seems like such an odd idea to think of life without Covid because of how ’normal’ it is now.

I agree, I fear that we won’t be able to enjoy the traditional senior experiences.
